This notice explains how we use information provided through our website, including project quotations, general enquiries, careers enquiries and offers to sell equipment or business assets.
Who we are
The data controller is AM Construction (Dorset) Ltd T/A TWK Scaffolding. We are based in Poole, Dorset, with coverage across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and neighbouring counties.
For questions about your information or to exercise your rights, email info@twkgroup.co.uk or call 01202 113222.
Information we collect
- Quotations: your name, company, email, optional telephone number, project or site location, requirements and programme, together with any relevant drawings, bill of quantities or site photographs you choose to provide.
- General enquiries: your contact details and message, with project or invoice references where relevant.
- Careers: contact details, role interests, relevant experience and qualifications, availability and any CV or supporting document you choose to provide.
- Equipment or asset offers: contact details, the type, location, quantity and condition of assets, and any relevant inventory or photographs you provide.
- Enquiry source: if a link includes campaign source, medium or campaign-name labels, those short labels may accompany your enquiry to help us understand which information led you to contact TWK. We do not add full referring addresses or advertising click identifiers to enquiry records, or create an attribution cookie.
- Website security: technical information such as IP addresses and request logs used to operate the website, prevent abuse and investigate faults. Forms use security checks and submission identifiers to prevent repeated or fraudulent requests.
Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to handle that form. Other fields and uploads are optional. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include identity documents, health information or personal information about other people unless necessary and you are entitled to share it.
Why we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess project requirements and quotations, review career interests and equipment or asset offers, and maintain secure and reliable records of those communications.
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process the necessary information on that basis. For business enquiries made on behalf of an organisation, general correspondence, speculative career interests and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests in managing enquiries, finding suitable people, evaluating business opportunities and protecting our services. We consider these interests alongside your rights.
Reading this notice and acknowledging it on a form does not give permission for unrelated marketing. These forms do not enrol you in a marketing list. We do not make decisions about applications or enquiries solely by automated processing.
Who receives your information
Enquiries are routed to info@twkgroup.co.uk and reviewed by authorised TWK staff. We use 20i for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email. These providers process information to supply those services. IT or professional advisers may receive information where needed to support our business, and we may disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information. Uploaded enquiry documents are handled as enquiry records rather than material for publication on our website.
International processing
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Their service terms provide safeguards for international transfers, including applicable standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions. Further information is available in 20i’s data processing agreement and Microsoft’s data protection addendum. Contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep information
Our retention period for unsuccessful applications and enquiry uploads is three months. Records connected with an ongoing project, a contract, employment, accounting or a legal requirement are considered separately according to the purpose and applicable obligations.
Deletion from active records does not necessarily remove a protected backup copy immediately; backup copies may remain until the relevant backup expires. Contact us if you have a question or request about a particular record, attachment or email.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, request its deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy where that right applies. Contact us using the details above so that we can consider your request. We may need to confirm your identity without collecting unnecessary information.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies and website measurement
The website uses the services needed to deliver pages and protect access. WordPress authentication and administration cookies apply when authorised users sign in. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, traffic sources, published pages and successful enquiry workflows, and clicks on our phone and email links. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited; information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States, under Google's applicable transfer safeguards. See Google's privacy policy for details. We do not send enquiry names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, uploaded files or receipt tokens to Google Analytics. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled.
Optional analytics loads only after you select Accept analytics. Reject analytics is equally available. You can change or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences on any public page. We remember your choice in the first-party twk_analytics_choice cookie for 180 days. After acceptance, Google uses _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 13 months without extending their expiry on each visit; browser session storage prevents duplicate enquiry events and ends with the browser session. Withdrawing consent stops this implementation from sending further events and removes its Google Analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not remove information already sent. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings; restricting necessary cookies may affect sign-in or other essential functions.

We will update this notice when the website’s handling of information changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
